487 The House On Sorority Row (1983)

 This  is  a   fairly  entertaining entry in  the  slasher  genre. Seven  female college friends  are  holding  a  party to  celebrate  their  graduation  although  the  plot  does  rely  on  them  having  scarcely  a  brain  cell  between  them, They  accidentally  kill  their  housemistress  then  find  themselves  being  picked  off  as  they try  to  dispose  of  her  body during  the  party.  It's  completely  absurd but  good  fun  nonetheless.

Kate  was  from  a  wealthy  Philadelphia  family  and  this  was  her  second  film. From  the  nineties  onwards  she  has  worked  mainly  in  TV  with  regular  roles in  WIOU  and  Bodies  Of  Evidence  and  a  long  string  of  guest  appearances. She is  still  active.

Eileen  Davidson ( as Nicki )

Sex : Nicki  starts having  sex  with  her  boyfriend

Death : Hacked  to  death  with an  iron cane

Eileen was a  former model  from  California  and  this  was  her  second  film. Though  he  has  a  smattering  of  film credits  she  is best  known  for  her  work  in  daytime  soaps  with  regular  roles  in  Days  Of  Our  Lives, Santa  Barbara  and  The  Bold And  The  Beurtiful. She  also  writes  crime  thrillers.She  is still  active.

Janis Ward ( as Liz)

Death : Has  her  throat  slit

This  was  Janis's  only  film  role  but  she  had  a  number  of  TV  roles  up  to  1991. She  then  became  a  high  school  teacher  but  made  a  brief  acting  comeback in  2006 , appearing in  the  TV  series  Unfabulous.

Robin Meloy  ( as Jeanie )

Death : Stabbed  then  decapitated

This  was  Robin's  only  acting  role  but  she  also  wriote  a  song, "Breaking  Waves" which  has  featured  in  a  couple  of  films.

Harley Kozak ( as Diane )

This  was  Harley's  first  film. Shortly  after  it  wrapped,  she  began  a  long  stint  on  daytime  soap  Texas  followed  by  another  substantial soap  role  in  The  Guiding  Light . She  had  supporting  roles  in  Parenthood  and  When  Harry Met  Sally. Her  acting  career  went  on  hiatus  in  the  noughties  while  she  developed  a  second  career  as  a  novelist  but  she  has  combined  the  two  since  1989.

Jodi  Draigie ( as Morgan)

This  was  Jodie's  only  screen  credit  for  40  years  until  she  reappeared  in  Freak.

Ellen  Dorsher ( as  Stevie )

Apart  from  one  other  appearance  on  TV  , this  was  Ellen's only  screen  role.
