317 Dear Dead Delilah ( 1972 )

Another  hag  horror  entry  here  with  a  number  of  unlovely  relatives  scrabbling  around  the  estate  of  dying  invalid  Delilah ( Agnes  Moorehead  in  her  last  onscreen  role )   for  some  hidden  loot. Someone  starts  killing  them  off  helped  by  the  presence of  a  reformed  axe  murder Luddy  ( Patricia  Carmichael ) in  this  house. There  are  some  well-spaced  gory  shocks  but  it  would  help  if  you  could  care just  a  smidgen  about  any  of  the  victims.

Elizabeth  Eis  ( as  Ellen )

Death : Axed  to  death  by  her  husband

Elisabeth had  roles  in  the  Dark  Shadows  TV  franchise  but  this  was  her  only  film  role. She  died  in  2012  aged  68.

Anne  Gibbs ( as  Young  Luddy )

Ann  has  just  four  acting  roles  to  her  credit. She  is  now 71.
