230 Curse of the Fly ( 1965 )
Although supposedly set in Montreal, this third instalment in the Fly saga was farmed out to Britain and features an almost all British cast. It has continuity breaks with the previous films but features the same family. It's not very scary but has its moments.
Patricia Stanley a pianist escapes from a mental home after a nervous breakdown. She is rescued by a handsome stranger ( George Baker ) and marries him. But he is Martin Delambre , grandson of the mad scientist in The Fly and the family are still ruinously committed to their experiments in teleportation.
Carole Gray ( as Patricia Stanley )
Sex : Patricia escapes from the asylum in just her bra and ( over-large ) panties
Death : Survives
Carole was a Rhodesian actress who came to prominence playing Cliff Richard's girlfriend in The Young Ones . She retired at the end of the sixties and returned to South Africa with her diamond heir husband. She is now 77.
Mary Manson ( as Judith Delambre )
Sex : No
Death : Killed in a struggle with the servant Tai perhaps by striking her head
This was one of only three films to feature Mary who was primarily a stage actress. She is now 86.
