In "Morella" Price plays a drunken widower who keeps his wife's corpse on the bed but is disturbed by a visit from the daughter he sent away as a baby.In "The Black Cat" he's a camp wine taster who befriends the local drunk ( Lorre ) and finds he has an attractive and unsatisfied wife. In "The Facts of the Case of M Valdemar" he's a terminally ill man who employs an evil hypnotist ( Basil Rathbone ) to alleviate his suffering but then finds himself trapped in a trance at the moment of death.
