302 Hands of the Ripper ( 1971 )
This was Hammer's second film to reference Jack the Ripper that year.
Eric Porter plays Dr Pritchard a psychiatrist who takes a young woman into his home despite knowing she is prone to murderous fits of violence. His motivations are never very clear and the whole film is sloppily plotted although gory enough to satisfy undemanding horror fans.

Angharad was born to Welsh parents in Middlesex and began her acting career in the late sixties. After this and an appearance in Under Milk Wood she made her name on TV as Demelza in Poldark. After the death of her son in 1999 she gave up acting and became a jewellery designer. She died of cancer in 2012 aged 68.
