400. Full Circle aka The Haunting of Julia (1977)

 This  psychological  horror  film  is  an  Anglo-Canadian  ptroduction  about  a  bereaved  mother  suffering  the  attentions  of  a  different  child in  her  new  home. With  echoes  of  Rosemary's  Baby  and  Don't  Look  Now,  this  one  is  slow  to  get  going  but  improves  markedly in  the  latter  half.

Death : Either  directly  from  choking  on  food  or  Julia's  attempt  at  a  tracheotomy

This  was  12-year old  Sophie's  first  acting  role. She  has  gone  on  to  a  successful  TV  acting  career  notably  in  Heartbeat. In  recent  years, she  has  been  more  active  as  a  writer.

Samantha  Gates ( as  Olivia)

Sex :  Described  as  sexually  precocious  by  another  character

Death : Smothered  by  her  mother

Samantha  was  a  child  model whose  main  claim  to  fame  was  appearing  naked  on  the  cover  of  Led  Zeppelin's  Houses  of  the  Holy. Her  acting  career  petered  out  at  the  end  of  the  eighties.
