793 Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993 )

This ninth instalment in the franchise scores ptretty highly on the gore factor  but in all other respects it's a muddled mess partly caused by the  trimming of the first time director' Adam Marcus'stwo hour script. Eschewing any  continuity from the previous film, this time round Jason  is a parasite passed from one victim to another who becomes a psychopath before giving someone else a turn. Liberal borrowings from David Cronenberg and  Halloween II are used to patch the story together but  it's a pretty weak effort.
