This computerhorror film falls somewhere between Shocker and The Lawnmower Man as a dying serial killer's brain scan goes viral and he uses the net ( this must be one of the earliest films where the word "internet" features) to carry on his killing spree. One of my favourite actresses, Karen Allen plays his prime target along with her teenage son and an amiable hacker ( Chris Mulkey ). There are one or two decent shocks but overall it's pretty average and of course the VR graphics look horribly dated.
Karen Allen ( as Terry )
Sex : No
Death : Survives
Karen was born in Illinois and was 27 when she made her screen debut in National Lampoon's Animal House in 1978. She made her name as Marion Ravenwood in Raiders Of The Lost Ark and has reprised her role in the last two sequels. She also made an impact in Starman but her first love has always been stage acting and the leading roles dried up as she was often unavailable. Her film career since then has largely comprised meaty roles in independent films and small ones in Hollywood pics. She also runs her own textiles business.
Shevonne Durkin ( as Carol )
Sex: Carol partially reveals her breasts to TErry's son and his friend
Death : Electrocuted when the ghost causes a washing machine to explode.
Shevoone is from California and had a number of glamour parts on film and TV in the nineties. Her career petered outafter that, her last appearance coming in the film Spermicide in 2014.
