This independent black and white horror is a bit predictable but has bags of atmosphere and a pretty exciting climax.
Eric Whitlock ( John Hudson ) remarries after the accidental death of his first wife Marion. In shades of Rebecca he brings his new wife Jenni back to his home where a mentally-challenged gardener Micky ( played by director Alex Nichol ) still holds a torch for Marion. Soon Jenni is plagued by things that go bump in the night and visions of a skull.
Peggy Webber ( as Jenni Whitlock )
Sex : Jenni strips down to a bra and underskirt. In other scenes her nipples are clearly visible through her night-dress
Death : Survives
Despite her tremendous figure, Peggy made few films. She seems to have been too busy writing, directing and acting in radio comedies. She founded and directed the California Artists Radio Theatre and also wrote extensively for TV. She is now 91.
