This US remake of House of Wax is garbage. I can't think of a redeeming feature.
Cameron Mitchell gives a wooden central performance as the disfigured make up artist Vincent Renard, on a revenge crusade, particularly against Max ( Berry Kroeger ) the movie mogul who maimed him. This involves turning innocent actors into waxworks but the cops on the case can't see what's literally in front of their face. Typically sixties campery adds an extra layer of irritation to the film.
