549 The Curse ( 1987 )

 This  was  a  box  office  bomb  and  it's  not  hard  to  seewhy. Based  on  an  HP  Lovecraft  story, this  starts quite  promisingly  as  an  engaging  family  drama  but  then can't make  up  its  mind  whether  it's  an  alien  invasion flick, a  body  horror movie or a pollution drama. In  the  end, it  abandons  all  coherence  in  favour of  destructive  special  effects and  a  nonsensical  epilogue.

Amy  was  the  real-life  sister of  the  movie's  star  Will Wheaton. She  had  an  intermittent  acting  career between 1987 and  2002  but  now  works  as  a  massage  therapist.

Death : Eaten  away by  the  poisoned  water

This  was  Kathleen's  only  film  role.

Hope North ( as Esther )

Sex : Esther sleeps with her husband

Death : Mauled to death by mad dogs

This  was  Hope's  first  film  role  after  a  handful  of  TV  appearances. She  was  a  bit  part  actress  up  to 1993  and  hosted  her  own  video  on  Line Dancing  in 1991.
