551 Hello Mary Lou : Prom Night II ( 1987 )

 Though set in the  same  school  and  sharing  a  revenge  for  the  past  theme, this  is  a  quite  different film from  its  predecessor  with  a  supernatural  element  missing  from  the  slasher  original. This  has  more  in  common  with  A  Nightmare On Elm  St  and, inevitably, Carrie . The  titular  Mary Lou  burns  to  death  at  a  prom  night in 1957 when a  malicious  prank  goes  wrong. Thirty  years  later  she's  back and  looking  for  revenge

Wendy (no relation to Sue)  is  a  Canadian  actress who  emerged  on  their TV  in  1985. This  was  her  first  film  role. Despite  praise  for  her  performance, she  never  really  broke  out  of  Canada  although  her  career  is  ongoing.

Lisa  Schrage ( as Mary Lou )

Death : Burns  to  death on  stage

Lisa  was  born  in  Toronto. She  started  acting  in  commercials  as  a  teenager and  this  was  her  second  film  role. Her  subsequent  career was  mainly  on  TV  and  she  declined  to appear  as  Mary Lou in  the  sequel. She  retired  from  acting  soon  after  marrying  a  Chilean  film  director.

Terri  Hawkes ( as Kelly )

Sex :  No

Death : Kelly  is  impaled by a  falling light  fitting

Terri  was  born  in  Montreal and  started  out  in TV  in  both  screen  and  voice  roles. This  was  her  second  film. Since  2007  she  has  concentrated  on  writing  and  is  a  femininist  academic.

Beverley Hendry ( as Monica )

Sex :  Vicky/Mary  Lou  comes  on  to  her  in  the  shower

Death : Crushed  by  an  imploding  locker

Beverley  had  a  short  acting  career mainly  on  TV  but  she  did  make  a  brief  return to  film  as  a  stunt  double  in  a  couple  of  films  in  the  mid-nineties.
