This Canadian film is regarded as one of the first "slasher" movies but for me it's spoiled by a rather campy approach and preposterous plot that relies on no one thinking to check the loft when someone goes missing.
A group of girls in a sorority house start receiving obscene and threatening phone calls from a nutter, possibly troubled pianist Peter ( Keir Dullea ). When people start going missing, the police response is less than impressive.

Olivia was born in Argentina though her mother was English and she was largely raised here. She made her big breakthrough as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in 1968 though she'd made a couple of films before that. She had another famous role as Mary in Jesus of Nazareth but thereafter her career never quite hit the heights though she is still working, some of it as a voice actress. She is now 66.

Margot gives full reign to her hellraising side as a foul mouthed and hard drinking sister here.
Andrea Martin ( as Phyl )

Death : Killed offscreen -method unknown
Andrea's only a foil for other characters in this one.
Lynne Griffin ( as Clare )

Death : Suffocated with a plastic bag - it's unusual for the virgin to be the first one to cop it
Lynne is well known in Canada as a Shakespearean actress but has also done a lot of TV work and the occasional film. She is now 65.
