 This  quirky  monster  movie from  Larry  Cohen  isn't  meant  to  be  taken  too  seriously  - as  it  couldn't  be  with  a  monster straight  from  Jason  and  the  Argonauts . Michael Moriarty  stars  as  an  inept  crook  who  stumbles  on  the  lair  of  a  winged  serpent  preying  on New  York  and  attempts  to  sell  the  information  to  the  mayor. Moriarty's  mannered  acting  style  is  an  acquired  taste  and  he's  given too  much  rope  here  but  it's  worth  a  look  for  its  offbeat  tone.

Thereafter  her  career  slowly  declined  and  she  was  seen  less  regularly  from  the  nineties  onwards  though  she  remained  active  up  to  2018.
