This offering from Tigon is not a bad story although if you've seen The Reptile recently , you'll work out what's going on long before Peter Cushing's droll detective assisted by Dave from Minder ( Glyn Edwards ) . It's told at a very leisurely pace though , with a long extract from a student play that's barely relevant to the plot. The producers show real faith in the audience's patience , tolerance of Roy Hudd as a jolly mortuary assistant and acceptance of biological inaccuracy like moths having claws and teeth.
