In the late eighties, some friends nominated this as the worst film they'd ever seen. If that were the case, they were pretty lucky in their viewing choices beause it's not even the worst Stephen King adaptation. That said, it's not great with poor pacing, few thrills, unsubtle satire and a huge letdown in failing to reveal the monster at the climax.

Linda's career began in TV and this was her third film role. Her breakthrough role came later in the year as Sarah Connor in The Terminator. She later married its director James Cameron. She was still mainly to be found on TV notably in the series Beauty and the Beast between 1987 and 1989. She came back to prominence with Terminator 2 in 1991 and had one or two leading roles after that but gradually fell back into TV work. She is currently to be found in the series Resident Alien.
Anne Marie McEvoy ( as Sarah )

Anne Marie worked steadily through the eighties mainly on TV but retired from acting in the early nineties both to raise her family and pursue higher education. She is now a Professor of Education and Child Psychology.. She made a cameo appearance reprisig one of her last TV roles in Full House when it was re-launched in 2016.

Julie is primarily a voice actress and this was the first of her rare onscreen roles. She works mainly in video games with well over a hundred credits in that field.
