504. C.H.U.D. (1984)

 This  movie  concerns  cannibalistic  mutants  living  in  the  sewers  of  New  York  and  preying  on  the  transients  who  also  live  down  there. It's  a  decent  effort  with   good  special  effects  and some  wit  although  since  we  pretty  much  know  what's  going  on  from  the  pre-credits  sequence, t's  a  bit  tedious  waiting  for  the  characters  to  catch  up.

Kim  Greist ( as  Lauren )

Kim  was  a  former  model  working  in  Europe   and  this  was  her  first  film. She  went  on  to  leading  roles  in  other  successful  films  such  as  Brazil, Homeward  Bound  and  Manhunter. She  unexpectedly  retired  from  acting in 2001  and  has  remained  in  private  life  ever  since.

Brenda Currin ( as Francine)

Brenda is from North  Carolina  and  is  primarily  an  award-winning  stage  actress. She  has  appeared  in  some  major  films  including In Cold Blood, Taps and  Reds  but only  in  minor roles. 

Hallie  Foote ( as  waitress )

Death : Killed  by  a  Chud ( offscreen )

This  was  Hallie's  first  film role . She  too  is  primarily  a  stage  actress. She also  has  a  few  TV  production  credits  since  1996.

Laure Mattos ( as Flora  Bosch)

Death : Killed and partially eaten  by  a Chud (offscreen)

This  was  Laure's  only  film  role.
