507 Friday the 13th 4 : The Final Chapter (1984)

 As  the  misleading title implies, this  was meant  to  be the  last  Friday the 13th  film with  Paramount believing  the  slasher  genre  had  had  its  day. However,  the  success of  Nightmare On Elm Street and  its  own triumph  in  tweaking  the  formula , particularly the  introduction  of  Corey  Feldman, ensured  Jason  would  have  further  adventures. The film  doesn't  have  comfortable  continuity  with  its  predecessors  but  otherwise  it's  a  worthy  addition  to  the  cannon with  Tom  Savini  still  delivering  the  goods with  the  shocks.

Kimberly Beck ( as Trish )

Sex : No

Death : Survives

As  the  daughter  of  actress  Cindy  Robbins, Kimberley  was  appearing  in  films  while  still  wearing  nappies in  the  late  fifties. After  1968 , she  took  a  break  to  complete  her  education  then  returned  to  acting  as  a  20 year  old  in  1976. By  the  late  eighties, her  film roles  had  dwindled to  bit  parts  and  she  quit  acting  altogether  at  the  end  of  the  nineties  though  she  took  a  voice  role  in  2009's  Heidi  4  Paws.

Barbara  Howard ( as Sara )

Sex : Sara  has  sex  in  the  shower  with  her  boyfriend

Death :  Jason  buries  an  axe  in  her  chest

Barbara  was  from Chicago and  this  was  her  second  film. She  refused  to  film  the  shower  scene  which  uses a  body  double. This  probably  harmed  her  film  career  which  was  disappointing. She  had  two years  in  Falcon  Crest   before  leaving  to  pursue  Broadway  roles. She  retired  in  the  late  nineties  to  take  up  a  new  career  as  a  psychotherapist.

Judie  Aronson  ( as Samantha )

Sex : Sam  goes  skinnydipping twice

Death :  Sam  is  stabbed  through  an  inflatable  raft  with  a  long  knife

Judie  was  from  Los  Angeles and  this  was  her  first  film  role. Her  career  probably  peaked  with  her  next one in  Weird  Science but  she  worked  steadily  in  film  and  TV  until  the  early  noughties. She  now  runs  a  Pilates  studio  in  L.A.

Camilla More  ( as Tina ) 

Sex : Tina  sleeps  with Bob

Death : Jason  throws  her  out  of  a  window and she  lands on a car

Camilla  was  an  English  actress  and  this  was  her  first  film  role. She  was  ore  ften  found  on TV  including  a  two year  run  in  Days  Of  Our  Lives. She  dropped  out  of  acting  after  1997.   

Carey More ( as  Terri)

Sex : Terri  goes  skinnydipping

Death : Terri  is  speared  by  Jason 

Carey  was  Camilla's  identical  twin  sister.  She  was  less  successful  than  her  sister  and  generally  only  appeared with  her. She  briefly  took  over  Camilla's  part  in  Days  Of  Our  Lives  in  1988  and  that  was  the  last  sighting  of  her.

Lisa  Freeman ( as Nurse Morgan )

Sex : Nurse  Morgan  prepares  for  sex  with  the  repellent  Axel

Death : Jason guts  her  with  a  scalpel

Lisa  was  the  daughter  of  Leonard  Freeman  who  created  Hawaii  Five O. She  was  a  bit part  actress  best  known  for  playing  Babs  in  the  first  two  Back  To  The  Future  films. Those  were  her  last  two  films  but  she  continued  in  TV into  the  nineties  and  did  some  Spoken  Word  CDs. She  quit  acting  to  study writing  and  now  has  five  novels  to  her  name.
