In "Morella" Price plays a drunken widower who keeps his wife's corpse on the bed but is disturbed by a visit from the daughter he sent away as a baby.In "The Black Cat" he's a camp wine taster who befriends the local drunk ( Lorre ) and finds he has an attractive and unsatisfied wife. In "The Facts of the Case of M Valdemar" he's a terminally ill man who employs an evil hypnotist ( Basil Rathbone ) to alleviate his suffering but then finds himself trapped in a trance at the moment of death.

Debra had been a popular young actress in the fifties but her career was on the wane when she made this. She retired in 1964 on her third marriage to an oil executive.She is now 83.
