Roger  Corman  and  Vincent  Price  put  down  Tales  of  Mystery and  Imagination  and  pick  up Shakespeare  for  this  romp  through  the  Richard  III  legend  with  scant  regard  for  historical accuracy.  Price  plays  Richard  as  a  tortured  villain   whose  mind  grows  more  unhinged  with  each  murder  on  his  way  to  the  throne. Some  good  scenes  compensate  for  the  wild  inaccuracies  -almost  every actor  is  too  old  for  a  start.

Joan  was  a  former  child  actress  who  was  more  active  in  TV  than  films. She  retired  in  the  mid-nineties. She  is  now  75.

Joan  Camden  ( as  Anne  Neville )

Death : Throttled  by  Richard  under  the  illusion  she  is  Mistress  Shore

This  Joan  too  was  mainly  a  TV  actress  and  this  was  the  last  of  her  handful  of  films. She  retired  the  following  year  and  died  of  a  heart  attack  on  Christmas  Day  2000  aged  71.

Sandra  looks  gorgeous  in  this  but  it's  a  shame  about  the  accent.
