This was George Romero's follow-up to Night Of the Living Dead, ten years later and in colour. Nothing much has changed as zombies threaten to overrun the US. Two TV producers and two police marksmen flee in a helicopter, landing on top of a shopping mall where they barricade themselves in from the zombies. It would be hard to miss the satirical bent as zombies blunder around the mall but that doesn't sustain the two-hour plus running time nor does the inexperienced cast.

Starting with this one, Gaylen only made three films , all horror. Before that she edited a poetry journal. Subsequently she became a documentary film-maker with some success.
