This strange British effort is only notable for its predominantly black cast and how un-pc it is. Even that illicit frisson wears off and you're left with a very tedious story.
Richard Coleman plays Inspector Hollis investigating both a turf war between black gangsters, one of them a club owner called, ahem, Spady ( Bari Jonson ) and the disturbance of a graveyard. His enquiries lead him to a hall of residene for Commonwealth students presided over by Benson ( Basil Dignam ) who is being threatened by obi's a bottle of charms signifying evil voodoo. The sinister careataker Amizan ( Brylo Forde ) may have something to do with it.

Suzanne was a successful TV actress from the early sixties to the late seventies. After 1983 she switched to teaching drama at Mountview School in London. She is now 77.
Carmen Munroe ( as Beverly )

Carmen was born in Guyana and was a successful actress for thirty years with memorable roles in General Hospital in the seventies and Desmond's in the early nineties. In 1985 she established the black theatre company Talawa and was mainly to be found on stage thereafter. She was awarded an OBE in 2007. She is now 84.
