245 The Psychopath ( 1966 )

This  is  a  little  known  thriller  from  Amicus  with  Patrick  Wymark  as  a  detective  investigating  the  murders  of  four  middle-aged  men  ,  each   found  with  a  lifelike   little   doll  by  their  side. Margaret  Johnston  gives  a  wonderfully  O.T.T.  performance  as  one  of  the  chief  suspects, a  crippled  doll-maker  with  a  grudge.

Judy  was  a  bit  part  actress  in  the  early  sixties  but  slowly  working  her  way  up  to  bigger  roles. She  largely  gave  up  her  career  on  marriage  to  Peter  Cook  in  1974  but  appeared  in  Derek  and  Clive  Get  the  Horn  in  1979.  She  is  now  73.
