464 Just Before Dawn ( 1981)

 George  Kennedy  adds  some  star  power  to  this   superior  slasher  about  five  campers  who  ignore  his  warnings  about  camping  in  the  woods  The  film  owes  much  to  The  Texas  Chainsaw  Massacre  and  The  Hills  Have  Eyes  and  the  Scooby  Doo  twist  halfway  through  doesn't  cover  up  all  the  plot  holes  but  it's  still  well-paced , surprisingly  grisly  in  parts  and  enertaining,

Deborah already  had  a  few  films  under  her  belt  before  this  and  looked  set  for  stardom but  it  didn't  happen  and  she  was  playing  minor  parts in  Knots  Landing  and  Falcon  Crest  just  a  few  years  later. She  initially  gave  up  in  1992  but  made  a  brief  comeback  in  a  couple  of  TV series  in 2010-11.

Jamie  Rose ( as Megan )

Sex : Megan  frolics  topless  in  a  lake  with  her  boyfriend  then  is  felt  up  by  a  retard hiding  in  the  lake. ( His  ability  to  enter  and  exit  the  lake  and  spend  a  considerable  time  under  the  surface  unnoticed   is  the  film's  most  obvious  plothole ).

Death : Killed  offscreen  by  a  retard, probably  with  a  machete

This  was  Jamie's  first  film  role  after  a  couple  of  TV  movies. Straight  after it,  she  secured  a  regular  role  in  Falcon  Crest  and  her  career  was  evenly  split between  B-movies  and  TV  worrk  thereafter. She  is  an  acting  coach  with  ther  own  studio in  L.A. but  hasn't  made  a  screen  appearance  herself  since 2016.
