This slasher has its moments courtesy of horror FX guru Tom Savini but there's a lot of padding and the storyline is incoherent. The revelation of the killer raises more questions than it answers. The first kill occurs in 1945 when a girl and her lover are murdered at a graduation ball seemingly by a returning GI she has abandoned. Thirty-five years , some students start being murdered by a man wearing WWII combat gear. The two events are connected but the film never convincingly explains how.
