 This  old  dark   house chiller  from  Australia  is atmospheric  and  has  its  moments but ultimately  it's  unsatisfying, moving  at  a  very  leisurely  pace  for  the  first  hour  then speeding  up  for  a  frenzied  finish  that  leaves  too  many  plotholes unexplained. Linda  inherits  a  large  house  from  her  mother which  is  being  run  as  an  old  people's  home. Linda  reluctantly  starts  managing  it  but  disturbing  events  start  happening  immediately

Jackie  had  a  few  Australian  TV  appearances  to  her  name  before  this. It  turned  outr  to  be  her  only  film  role. She  made  sporadic  appearances  on  Australian  TV  up  to  2009.

Debra  Lawrence ( as Carol )

Death : Carol's  body  is  found  in  the  grounds with  her  throat  slashed but  it's  not  clear  who  killed  her  or what  she  was  doing  there

Debra   was  born  in  Melbourne  and  is  a  stalwart  of  Australian  TV  who's  appeared  in  all  the  Aussie  soaps  including  three  separate  roles  in  Prisoner  Cell  Block H  and  a  20 year  stint as  Pippa  Ross  in  Home  And  Away. She  has  appeared  in  a  number  of  Australian  films  most  notably  A Cry  In  The  Dark. Her career  is  ongoing.
