This Australian slasher is so awful you wonder if it's meant seriously. A young girl is blamed for causing her mother's death in a car crash and grows into a mentally disturbed young woman. Despite this being obvious to all, she ends up getting a part in a theatrical production of an absurdist comedy ( truly dreadful from the excerpts we see ) but virtually everyone involved ends up getting slashed up with a piece of glass.
I can't list all the things that are wrong with this movie but the following must be mentioned. The lead actress is dreadful; in a film about acting it's particularly noticeable. The spate of killings at the film's climax is logistically impossible requiring the killer to be in three places at once. The scene where one victim gets up twice after multiple stabbings in the street and runs back into the theatre to die where she can be discovered is risible. That aside, the kill scenes are well-handled and if that's all you're looking for , it passes muster; on every other level it's atrocious.

She had a central role in Anglo-Australian soap Families until the Australian producers pulled out and she was killed off. In film, her most notable role was in the eco-thriller Long Weekend.
