467 The Pit ( 1981)

 This  Canadian  shocker  is  oddly  structured - the main antagonist  is entirely  absent  from the  climax - and  somewhat  uneven  in  tone  but good  etertainment  all  the  same. Jamie  is  a  12 year  old ( though  the  actor  looks  older )  autistic  and  bullied  loner  with  an  unhealthy  fixation  on  his  young  babysitter. He  discovers  a  pod  of  troglodytes  living  in  a  deep  unfenced  hole in  the  woods. When  he  runs  out  of  money  to  feed  them  meat  frm  the  butcher, he  starts  leading  his  enemies  into  the  woods.

Jeannie Elias ( as Sandy )

Sex : Jamie  spies on Sandy  sleeping  and  showering

Death : Sandy  falls  into  the  pit  accidentally  and  is  devoured  by  the  troglodytes

Jeannie  was  born  in  Quebec. She  had a  moderately  successful  career  in  front of the  cameras  but  has  been  insanely  busy  as  a  voice  actress with  over  150  credits  in  film, TV  and  video  games.

Sonja  was  born  in  Ottawa. She  is  mainly  a  TV  and  theatre  actress  in   Canada  and  the  U.S,  Her  most  prominent  work  was  the  lead  role  in  a  Canadian  TV  series  Traders  which  ran  from  1996  to  2000.  She  is  active  in  women's  organisations.

Laura  Hollingsworth ( as  Marg  Livingstone )

Jennifer'  was  the  daughter  of  the  film's  director  Lew  Lehman  which  makes  her  topless  appearance  rather  creepy. This  was  her  only  acting  role  thoufgh  she  did  become  a  successful TV  producer  in  the  noughties.
