 More  telekinetic  horror, this  time  from  Australia. The  titular  Patrick  is  a  comatose  patient  who's  been  that  way for  three  years  following  the  murder  of  his  mother  and  her  lover. Despite  appearances  he  does  have  awareness  and  takes  a  shine  to  his  new  nurse, He  uses  his  telekinetic powers  to  interfere  in  her  life. It's  great  to  see  Suan  Penhaligon  in  a  meaty  role   but  otherwise  it's  over-long  and  a  bit  low  on  shocks.

Susan  Penhaligon ( as  Kathie  Jacquard )

Sex : Kathie  has  sex  with  her  boyfriend. She  also masturbates  Patrick  to  elicit  a  response

This  was  Susan's  last  horror  outing  apart  from  a  voice  cameo  in  the  2013 remake.

Helen Hemingway  ( as  Sister  Williams )

This  was  Helen's  only  film  role. She  was  a  regular  on  Aussie  TV  in  the 1970s  but  disappears  after  1981

Maria  Mercedes ( as Nurse  Panicale )

Maria  has  had  a  long  career  in  Australian  TV  and  has  had  two  different  roles  in  Neighbours.. She  also  had  a  cameo  in  the  2013  remake.

Carol Ann  Aylett (as  Patrick's  mother)

Sex : Frolics  in  the  bath  with  her  lover

Death : Electrocuted  when  Patrick  throws  a  heater  in  the  bath

Carol  Ann was  born  in  England but  did  all  her  acting  in  Australia. She  retired  at  the  end of  the  nineties  but  she  too  had  a  cameo in  the  remake.
