442 He Knows You're Alone ( 1980)

 This  slasher  will  always  have  a  footnote  in  film  history  for  featuring  the  debut  of  Tom  Hanks  as  a  psychology  student. Otherwise  it's  a  blatant  Halloween  rip-off  with  Duncan  Bannatyne -lookalike  Tom  Rolfing  as  a  maniac  killer  who  shares  Michael  Myers' ability  to lurk  in  plain  sight. The  Donald  Pleaance  role  is  filled  by  Lewis  Arlt  as  a  cop  whose  fiance  he  offed  some  years  back.Despite  the  larceny,  it's  not  a  bad  film  with  some  memorable  moments.  of  its  own.

26 year  old  Caitlin  was  a  former  model  and  stage  actress making  her  second  film. She  worked  mainly  in  TV but  started  a  second  career  as  a  perfumier. She  seems  to  have  retired  now.

Elizabeth Kemp ( as  Nancy )

Death : Nancy  has  her  head  cut  off  with  a  knife

Elizabeth  was  28  and  this  was  her  film  debut. She  had  a  long  career  interspersing film  with  TV  and  stage work. She  died  in  2017  but  appears  posthumously  in 2022's  Emperor  of  the  Free  World.

Patsy  Pease ( as  Joyce )

This  was  Patsy's  first  film  role. In  1984  she  began  an  eight  year  run  on  daytime  soap  Days  Of  Our  Lives  and  has  made  numeous  guest  appearances  since. She  had  a  long  break  to  care  for  her  disabled  son  She  also  works  as  a  dance  instructor  and  hasn't  appeared  on  screen  since  2016.

Dana  Barron  ( as  Diana )

This  was  13-year  old  Dana's  first  film  and  she  made  her  name  in  her  next  one, National Lampoon's  Vacation. As  an  adult  actress she  has  carved  out  a  successful  career  including  Beverley  Hill  90210  though  she  is  currently inactive.

Robin  Lamont  ( as  Ruthie )

Robin  appeared  and  sang  in  the  film  version  of  Godspell in  1973. This  was  her  only  other  film  role.

This  was  Robin's only  film  role  though  she  has  a  few  TV  credits, the  last  in  1985

This  was  the  final  one  of  three  films  Debbie  made  in  a  brief  career.
