425 Alien (1979 )

 Peerless  sci-fi  horror  crossover  which made  director  Ridley  Scott's  name. A space  salvage  crew  investigate  a  distress  call  to  find  that  the  being  who  made  it  is  long  dead but  surrounded  by  eggs  which  are  anything  but. And  what  hatches  is  very  nasty  indeed. Not  that  you  see  that  much  of  it  which only  increases  the  terror  as  it  picks  off  the  crew.

Sex : Ellen  strips  down  to  her  underwear under  the  mistaken  impression  she's  safe

Death : Survives

The  29 year  old  had  little  screen  experience  when  she  auditioned  for  the  role  but  hers   was  a  starmaking performance. She's  never  been  short  of  work  since. he's  been  nominated  for  an  Oscar  three  times  but  never  won.

Veronica Cartwright ( as  Lambert )

Sex : It's often  suggested  that  the  alien  interferes  with  Lambert  before  killing  her but  it  doesn't  have  a  great  deal of  time for  it 

Death : Eviscerated  by  the  alien

Veronica  would  have  preferred  her  character to  be  a  bit  stronger  but  played  the  role  to  perfection.
